A lovely Victorian Wellington chest/specimen or collector's cabinet from an Edinburgh museum.  This cabinet holds 24 numbered drawers, all 3" (7.5cm) deep X 17" (43cm) wide.  Each drawer has its own numbered removable glazed lid to protect the contents.  It is an excellent quality piece with lockable shaped columns and is solidly made with hand cut dovetail joints on all the drawers, and also has a working key.  We like to present pieces in original condition where possible, therefore the top of the cabinet has marks and knocks that are consistent with its age and use, but these could be polished depending on a customer's preference.
