A beautiful Silver Salver, hallmarked Sheffield 1930.

Engraved; 'North Riding of Yorkshire County Agricultural Executive Committee.  It was presented to  D J Hendrie (County Agricultural and Executive Officer from 1942 - 1949) from the District and Executive Members'.

The salver itself has a scalloped edge surrounded with a lovely, understated design and sitting on ball and claw feet.  With a few vintage marks but in good condition, this piece would have meant a lot to the person receiving it.  Great for serving drinks, or even a conversation piece!
