A beautiful set of 4 early Sheffield Silver Plate on copper Candlesticks with some solid silver mounts. For fine dining or that mood setting. We purchased all four candle sticks together and these are being sold as 4 however, these four consist of two pairs of near identical sticks (see photos) These are of good size at 12.5" inches or (31cm) high. The silver is in lovely condition with some areas showing a little copper just adding to the beauty and feel. One pair of candle sticks has lion masks to the top of each stick, with one having a much loved silver replacement to a lion mask which has gone missing over the years, only adding to the character (see photos). With makers marks Matthew Boulton & Co, Soho Works, Birmingham 1784
