Wine Table - Regency Period
A very good quality Regency tripod mahogany early 19th Century wine, or lamp table, having a well figured octagonal top with great patina. The snap catch top to this piece is 100% original, the holes to the underside of this top have been measured and thoroughly checked with the current position of the top and confirm that the top has been rotated at some time to allow the legs to line up in a different position, this could be rotated back again if required, and does not detract from the elegance of this piece. The legs are carved with acanthus leaves and terminate in a hairy paw brass castor. A very useful size and perfect for a lamp, glass of wine or anything else you may wish to place to one side.
