An important and very interesting first edition, Actinologia Britannica British Sea Anemones & Corals.  Signed to the inside JW Peach.  It also includes J W Peach’s discovery and drawing Halcampa Chrysanthellum discovered and drawn 1845. Along with other interesting entries from his time in Peterhead, Wick, Shetland, Firth of Forth and Cornwall, including corrections to the author Gosse!

Some of Charles Peach’s collections are held in National Museums Scotland.

This is a beautiful book with fabulous notes, drawings and sightings (see photographs).  Lovely detailed coloured illustrations.
