A wonderful chance to own an important pine sea chest of General Alfred Huyshe, CB (1811–1880) a distinguished British Army officer with the administrative and oversight command of the artillery, extensively with inspector general of the Bengal Artillery in 19th-century India and military campaigns. With a lovely label attached to the inside of the chest written by his son Wentworth Huyshe. This chest was full of important documents which have been entrusted to the Musesum of Scotland.
