Bespoke Vintage UK
A beautiful example of a late 19th early 20th century puzzle box from Sorrento Italy, made from solid olive wood. This is a lovely early piece which is handmade and not to be confused with later modern boxes. The wood and quality of these boxes varies widely, this one is exceptional with a great patina and in wonderful condition.
This ingenious box is in good condition with a key. The figurative group on the top is a mixture of inlaid woods including beautiful green Harewood making up the figures onto solid olive wood.
