This beautifully handmade and rare item bears all the hallmarks of use and conversation from the 18th century, the patina and knocks over the years where it has been handled are wonderful, with dovetail seams in the construction of both the body and spout including a strong brass base and support to the lid with original wooden handles make this piece exceptional.
