A good George II provincial oak chest of diminutive size with brushing slide. Excellent original colour and patina. Great compact proportions. Two over three long graduated drawers, supported on original bracket feet. The chest has replacement brasses, otherwise original throughout. Thumbnail edge detail to top and sides and a detailed feature around the drawers simulating cock beading makes this an unusual piece.
A piece of very good quality, with a compact width 32" (81cm)
