19th Century Brass and Iron Footman
A fine example of a brass and iron footman, with it's dark iron, beautifully shaped legs and contrasting brass top. It has a lovely patina resembling gun metal and beautifully curved and proportioned legs. There is a very small dent in the top, but this just adds to the character. It would have been used to help people into carriages or even as a step, but today it looks amazing as a display podium, or even a small side/coffee table. Definitely a great addition to your home!
