A delightful 19th century Scottish mahogany eight-day longcase clock by Peter Martin, Glasgow.  This four-pillar movement has an anchor escapement, striking on a bell, with a seconds and date dial.  Fully serviced and all in good working order.  This Scottish clock maker traded from 8 Govan Street Gorbals Glasgow between 1840-50.
